October 18th, 2014 is a day that will forever be etched into my heart. My sister was 21 when her life came to a sudden end. She was killed in a car accident. Ashleigh was such a bright light. When she smiled, she lit up the whole room. I was so proud to call her my big sister. She loved blasting the radio in the car and singing her lungs out (even though she couldn’t sing to save her life). Some of my favorite memories I have of her are of us driving around with the sunroof down without a single care in the world. She had this thing about her that made you forget about anything that was bothering you.
Ash was in her third year of college studying to be a pharmacist. She loved learning; I thought she was insane for liking math. Every day, I think about her and how much I miss her but I am so truly blessed to have been able to spend 15 years with her. Although I wish she was still here with me, I wouldn’t trade those 15 years for anything. I know she will always be by my side singing with me in the car and making my bad days brighter. I love you Ashleigh Danielle Bond.

Such a beautiful tribute to your beautiful Ashleigh, Ryan!! Thank you for sharing with us!!
I lost my brother-in-law on August 12, 1976 when he was 23 years old. Even though he was “just an in-law” we loved him more than words can say and losing him forever changed our family. Like you, the date will always be etched into my brain. It was a Thursday and whenever someone mentions Friday the 13th I always respond with “Thursday the 12ths are the real killers”. They always look at me strangely but I remember with sadness that bad luck doesn’t care what day it is. The pain never goes away but it becomes easier to bear. Prayers for your healing.
Beautiful tribute.
We were one of the lucky ones to have known Ashleigh. She was always full of laughter and fun. Forever in our hearts, Love your British Family🇬🇧
